Nocturnes
for piano solo

Written at the request of my good friend Jenny Undercofler, this work has 6 short movements, of various styles and harmonic/rhythmic languages. The only common feature is the so-called "nocturnal" mood, which is dressed in many forms: from a Satie-styled waltz, to aleatoric tinklings. Jenny is a fabulous musician, and she has honored me with several performances of this piece.
