Streaming audio is now online for my Led Zeppelin and Puccini arrangements as part of Townsend Opera’s excellent Opera Remix project.

This week I return to The Midwest Clinic for Thursday morning’s Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra premiere of Blow It Up, Start Again, conducted by the fabulous Allen Tinkham. And on Friday morning, I will participate in a Composers Forum, moderated by Northwestern University’s Dr. Mallory Thompson. Looking forward to the week in Chicago, and to enjoying time with friends old and new!

There’s a fresh coat of paint on the site! This re-design features in-browser streaming audio and fancy embedded scores, but it will be some weeks before all is working perfectly in all browsers (especially on iOS devices), so please Pardon Our Dust, as they say.

Now online: the completed score for Blow It Up, Start Again, premiering with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra this December, and concert audio from September’s world premiere of These Inflected Tentacles.

Tonight at The Cell on W. 23rd St., The Avian Orchestra premieres These Inflected Tentacles, with Chris Nappi-marimba, Cyrus Beroukhim-violin, Joey Amini-cello, and Blair McMillen-piano.

Tonight in Evanston, the Northwestern University Contemporary Music Ensemble performs Concertino for flute, chamber winds, and piano. Grammy-Award winning flutist Molly Barth is the soloist, and Tim Robblee conducts.

Very pleased to announce that Brain Music, the wonderful wind music rental agency in Hiroshima, will be the exclusive distributors of my wind ensemble music in the territory of Japan.

Now online, the wonderful premiere performance recording of Vivid Geography for women’s chorus & chamber orchestra, with the Nagoya Academic Winds and Chorus, conducted by Tokyo Kosei’s Mamoru Nakata.
