This week I return to The Midwest Clinic for Thursday morning’s Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra premiere of Blow It Up, Start Again, conducted by the fabulous Allen Tinkham. And on Friday morning, I will participate in a Composers Forum, moderated by Northwestern University’s Dr. Mallory Thompson. Looking forward to the week in Chicago, and to enjoying time with friends old and new!

There’s a fresh coat of paint on the site! This re-design features in-browser streaming audio and fancy embedded scores, but it will be some weeks before all is working perfectly in all browsers (especially on iOS devices), so please Pardon Our Dust, as they say.

Tonight in Evanston, the Northwestern University Contemporary Music Ensemble performs Concertino for flute, chamber winds, and piano. Grammy-Award winning flutist Molly Barth is the soloist, and Tim Robblee conducts.
